Derek Taylor is a third year veteran of the Blizzard. Derek brings a sense of leadership to the team on and off the ice. Finishing last season 5th on the team in scoring with 16 goals and 36 points, he is already on pace to top that substantially. Derek is a great two-way player and has incredible hands and a great shot. Derek is another local player and grew up in Cole Harbour where he played all of his minor hockey. He is currently furthering his education at St. Mary's University taking a Business Marketing degree.
